The crucial need facing the human race in the twenty-first century is to find a unifying vision of the nature of man and society. Such a vision unfolds in the writings of Bahá’u’lláh (1817-1892).
In 2005, the Universal House of Justice, the international governing council of the Baha’i Faith released a document entitled “One Common Faith”. This document was a follow up to the letter to the world’s religious leaders written in April 2002 by the Universal House of Justice. This on-line study companion is designed to assist the process of engaging with “One Common Faith”.
Bahá’u’lláh compares the maturation of the human race to the experience of its individual members who struggle through the stages of infancy, childhood and adolescence.
